Formerly a warehouse when it was built in 1858, this eight-story building has since been renovated to accommodate a modern hotel. Its excellent location makes its rates eem too good to be true, while offering...

User Reviews of Harborside Inn

Good location. Nothing to rave about. by D D. at InsiderPages

If you want to be near Fanueil Hall, this would be a good choice. They recently renovated all the rooms, and they did a nice job. But they're certainly not big. We had a cityview room, and it was freezing. So...

Harboside Inn by D. F. at InsiderPages

Nice large rooms. Very clean and the decor is very elegant. Hardwood floors in the rooms. Very reasonable prices for Boston. Nice breakfast served in the lobby.

4.0 of 5 stars. Great location, good price, and rather sexy inside. Exposed red brick walls. View of a really cool old building. Subway right in front of the inn. Harbor right across the street. Discount on parking...

Great Location

This hotel is a block from the harbor and right next to a great bar. The beds are ok and the rooms are fine for an old warehouse turned into a hotel. But the best part of the whole place is the location.

Yelp.com Review - by Melissa L.

4.0 of 5 stars. No frills, but I would say that there are just enough amenities for the money. It's typically below $130/ a night & it's kind of fun to find out what type of room you might have. Some have fancy...

So much for the hardwood floors and brick wall!

Funny, when I read "All rooms have one queen bed, hardwood floors, authentic oriental rugs and exposed brick wall." on a hotel's website, I somehow expect to walk into my room and see the same! Not so during our November 2007 stay. We were advised that they had "renovated" some rooms. We told them we weren't happy, that their website was false advertising. We magically got transferred to a room that looked like the hardwood floored/brick walled pics on the website. We were not impressed with their blatant lies and will not go there again.
